Let’s Work Together
We work together and support each others initiatives…
Like VaCAP, other appraiser organizations are working towards the betterment of the appraisal industry and public trust. VaCAP works independently, as well as with a network of other state coalitions and other professional organizations in our industry. Many of the initiatives VaCAP supports are the same initiatives other organizations support. Although we may have different ideas on solutions, we work together and support each others initiatives as the appraisal industry and the consumer benefits.
The American Society of Appraisers was represented by John Russell, Director of Government Relations, at the Customary and Reasonable Fee Committee meeting on January 11th. John spoke of the importance of establishing a customary and reasonable fee in Virginia and supported VaCAP in our initiatives. John was also present a the February 23rd VREAB Board Meeting when the Veterans Administration Fee Schedule was approved as a presumptive minimum. Please join VaCAP in thanking John and the ASA for their support.

Pat, Damian and all the others at VaCap, it is a pleasure working with you on so many of our common goals. This will not be the last time. We have already started other projects of mutual interest and as these progress our members should be pleasantly surprised.
We are also working with other state and national groups. If YOUR group is not one of them, I urge you to contact the American Guild of Appraisers. Put the power of our Guild’s ‘parent’ organizations behind your efforts! The THIRTEEN MILLION taxpaying, consumer members; their families, and retirees of the AGA; #44OPEIU & AFL-CIO can open doors you may previously have believed closed to us.
