Baggins, that’s a great idea and I will look into seeing about starting a new 100% Real Estate appraisers group on a forum separate from Facebook. Please consider an alternative like a privately hosted shielded forum site or something along those lines, lots of FB disclosure lately, none of it looks good. Steep deductible program option for jr aga membership? Just brainstorming. You two individuals, among others, have changed this industry for the better and we’re thankful for it.

While I will agree with you on your post and yes you should be able to make your own decisions that are best for you, I also believe in being proactive and as stated in the article the AGA helped me avoid any actions by my state on a case. Saved me money, lawyer fees and Other issues. So yes. I did use my own brain to make the decision to become a member as it was in my best interest and it was a solid decision. I myself am fully engaged in following as much as possible in the profession by reading all I can and listening to all I can

Everyone should do what’s best for them and their business especially in this profession.

Half of your brain has been screaming to you to run like Hell from this “profession” for ten long years. Have you listened to it or preferred to listen to countless groups who promised help that never arrived? When Jonathan Miller (Mr. Manhattan) is still complaining about the state of the industry you know you’re in trouble.
