Almost forgot, as the coach would say “Go make up a value”.

As we become “cave-people” during this trying time it would be wise of us to read the writings etched on the walls by our predecessors. We must beset ourselves to remember our current possibly life-altering experiences as an adventure: An undertaking with an uncertain outcome. With an open mind, we can learn from our adventures to make us stronger for the future by the survival of our individual and personal short-comings. Our current adventure, be it the start, middle, or near the end, should give all of us the knowledge that life is not the continuous and relatively smooth road we have experienced and that bumps, dips, curves, and washouts should be expected. My cave wall quips include “Anticipate with optimism, not pessimism”, “It’s wiser to know than to suppose” and finally, “facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored”.
