I think we appraisers all have something against Brian and for good reason. Why bash on someone for just speaking up/out on those who negatively affect our profession. Are we supposed to be quiet and take what’s given to us, is that what you’re suggesting?

Just like any article you yourself need to do the research on him and then come to your own conclusions. I bet you will be disgusted at his actions against our industry just like we are.

I’d assume civil case was filed first, while the criminal charges were being investigated. Obviously investigators, and prosecutors agreed with the evidence, and are moving forward with the criminal case.

There was also a lawsuit last year, or the year before from a previous VP who claimed to have been blackballed, and claimed to have copies of evidence of significant fraud (http://appraisersblogs.com/cvms-fraud-coester–scheer). The case was settled, and part of the terms  of the settlements (which are public, and found online) was a gag order, and that they would wipe all the data from Scheer’s computer, including all the evidence he collected.

People there approach it like amc persons, so I won’t work for them. The lenderx system is a something else, they like outsource the development and don’t really control it. Still beats amc’s though if for no other reason than a steady standard reliable fee without splits.

Ron, I have been getting the same BS from AMC’s and I also tell them I was charging that 25-30  years ago, when I didn’t have to pay for my certification, E & O Insurance, gas was under $1.50 a gallon, etc, etc, etc.  I’m a lady, so I won’t use the words that describe majority of the AMC’s.

Appraiser should be sharing with each other in ways to make a living on today’s world…

I am confused I guess I see the civil action (I read the blogs a lot) but CR is criminal charges and the article says August filing date your link is from February. There is nothing out there that says what the criminal charges are as far as I can tell. I would be very interested to know actually.

This other amc one time locked me out, pretended there was no record of any orders, and dropped malware on my pc via an logo attachment in an email. Illusions of value added service. These are predatory companies by nature, they produce nothing and take everything.

That along with the domestic abuse, the fact that his divorce case shows he defaulted on child support long ago, lost custody of his kids, and has a restraining order against him by his wife and kids show what a disgusting excuse for a man.
