One also wonders how these standards would apply to lender direct assignment panels, which basically mirror all terms and standards of amc’s. I’ve worked those long hours, and have been under these standards, technically employed by multiple companies through the years. Most ML appraisers in the country could probably state a similar position. The entire industry has moved towards treating appraisers as dispensable employees. Perhaps these events are why we’re seeing a more common trend of turning appraisers over with higher frequency. How many man hours will go into this issue before someone finally considers that none of it would have been necessary if the fees were not improperly co mingled and 100% of the appraisal fee, simply went directly to the appraiser.

My take was $120,000. But they killed us on pay for 2 years and than paid us back with our own money. May they all choke and live a horrible life before they die an agonizing death in their late 100″s !!!

Bastards put appraisers working hard for them close to bankruptcy to make a few extra dollars to give to themselves!!!

My original trainer who went to the dark side and became a staff appraiser for years, was part of a winning 30 million dollar class action suit. His split was over $130,000. Doesn’t right a wrong, but justice none the less.
