I have never been compelled to leave a comment on a blog. I have been an residential real estate appraiser for 16 years. This is my first so here go's. I found your insight based on your experiences stated to be refreshing and very intuitive. My first reaction to the statement that you do 3.5 inspections per day was to compare you to a friend of mine who is also an appraiser. He has an assistant that does the busy work of the assignment (he thoroughly proofs there work and does similar field work as you stated). furthermore your mentor did a wonderful job as I feel that you would be a person that I could benefit with your mentoring (common sense). I can say that you are someone that I would admire based on my limited exposure of the above candid remarks. Thank you for your analysis.
Sincerely,

3.25 per day? LOL
Now THAT is a ton of $150 AMC work.

That adds up to quite a few deceptive comp photos shot by Dustin #2 and Dustin #3.

I am curious: Does that $150 price tag include having it translated from Chinese to English?

3.25 inspections per day!! I can't imagine the quality of the report! How do you do the research, write the report, and the inspection for three or more houses per day?? Sounds like a LandSafe type of appraisal. No meat, just a value. And yet, you try to come off as an appraisal expert! I've reviewed reports that are done in "factory style" and it's hard to justify any of the adjustments, quality or condition for the comps. Talk about "just the minimum"! Those lenders aren't getting much for their money are they?
