					<description><![CDATA[I do not work for any AMCs and my clients pay me $600-$900 per report. They detest AMCs. My average payment for the last 3 reports was $877. My clients do not want appraisers who low ball fees just for the work, they want quality reports and they pay a good fee for them. The appraisers should have created a Union about 30 years ago, instead many just sit around and complain all day. We are supposed to be the boots on the ground, and experienced eyes to observe. This cannot be replaced by an inspector, no matter what anyone says. Ever inspected a property and then read the home inspection report. Comparing their observations to yours? Amazing the difference what the experienced eye picks up compared to the novice.

This whole thing is a joke, and as we all know; it’s just another way for the banks to charge the buyer $750 to $1,000. Pay the inspector $50 to a $100 and the desk appraisal person $100, bank netted $550 to $800.

My vote a long time ago was to either allow the appraisal into soft costs or force the agency into hard costs, providing a necessary correction to the consumers ability to bargain and relieving a lot of pressure on the appraisal which is never allowed to be a soft cost or financed away like nearly every other cost involved which still falls under soft costs.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Can we all agree that AMC fraud is wildly out of control? No other profession would allow this behavior. AMCs have overstepped their intended purpose. I&#039;m not suggesting ISIS is good however if a hijacked plane flew into clear capital with no passengers onboard i dont think a single appraiser would lose sleep. The major problem I see is most appraisers are approaching retirement age and are complacent sitting home and typing hybrid reports for $50. Appraisers who accept hybrid work and 1004s below $375 consider yourself the real problem! Thanks to you clowns we will be changing career paths within the next 10 years! If you want to change the industry stop accepting these low fees! Thanks!]]></description>
