Evaluation Solutions Closes Its Doors

Evaluation Solutions ES Appraisal Services bankruptcy

Evaluation Solutions, ES Appraisal Services in bankruptcy…

Another AMC is closing its doors. Evaluation Solutions, ES Appraisal Services is in bankruptcy. Appraisers who have been inquiring about money owed to them, are receiving emails stating

“Due to unforeseen circumstances Evaluations Solutions, ES Appraisal Services is ceasing operations”

and

“any inquiries should be directed to Bradley R. Markey…”

The following is a letter from their bankruptcy attorney, Stutsman Thames & Markey, P.A.:

Our firm has been retained to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceeding for the company. Evaluation Solutions lost its major client earlier this week and was forced to shut down operations. The fact that you are receiving this email means that you are in the system and we are aware of your claim. Once the Chapter 7 case is filed, you will receive a notice and instructions on what to do. A Trustee will be appointed to handle the claims administration process.

The company is not able to make payments on any outstanding invoices at this point.

This is a very large case. It will take our firm a week or two to get the necessary paperwork together. You should be receiving notice of the bankruptcy by mid to late January.

Thank you for your patience.

What do you call 500 bankrupt AMCs at the bottom at the ocean?

    A great start.

This is the beginning of the end. They don’t operate on their own assets. The lenders better make good on paying these poor appraisers

OK everyone. We all know that you have identified the CLIENT as being Chase. The AMC is an agent of Chase. The utltimate responsibility for payment is from Chase. Class action will be hard and they are counting on it. Everyone file in small claims court. Get your judgement and seize their assets. If a few thousand of us file then that will get their attention. The name and address is on their order.

Also, why can’t we get our state mortgage licensing department to pull the license of any Chase employee in our respective states. They certainly don’t allow licenses to companies that don’t pay their bills.

EsAppraisalScam.com is a site that is keeping track of the money stolen.

Go to the State boards and demand these AMC’s be regulated, bonded, disciplined.

The time is now. It takes a long time to work through the bureaucracy.

The AMC business model does not work. If they were to tack their fee on top of ours they would all be out of business.

I hate to say it, but I believe we are all screwed.
I plan to contact the Florida AG and call the HUD fraud hotline. Another contact is your US Representative and Sentor, since HUD is involved this is a Federal Government issue as well.
I also plan to file in small claim(s) court.
I contacted my State Licensing Agency and found out they are proposing legislation, but that will take some time and won’t help with ES.

    Never worked for these guys.

If the amc’s had a fixed per order service charge, this would not have happened.
